Jan Schakowsky

Jan Schakowsky, the 2nd most liberal representative, has served Illinois’ 9th district since 1999. She voted for the 2009 economic stimulus package. Her record makes it appear that she thinks the government’s job is to protect us from ourselves.

Tom Perriello

Tom Perriello is a first term congressman serving Virginia’s 5th district. It would be great if he could learn the lesson of term limits and commit to stepping down after his first term. For the record he voted for the2009 economic stimulus package.

Harry Reid

Harry Reid is the erstwhile senator from Nevada. He has served as the Senate Majority Leader since 2006. Senator Reid is known for his partisanship. He was first elected to office in 1987 and it is time to not reelect Senator Reid.

Artur Davis

Artur Davis is a relatively new member of congress serving Alabama’s 7th congressional district. Mr. Davis is an attorney and ran unopposed for reelection in 2008.

Robert Aderholt

Robert Anderholt is a relatively new member of congress serving Alabama’s 4th congressional district. Like many of his congressional colleagues, he is an attorney by trade. Of course, we wish him no ill will. It’s just time for somebody new.

Linda Sánchez

California, a state with a large number of representatives is honored with another representative from their fair state, Linda Sanchez, representing the 39th congressional district. She’s only been in office a few years (since 2003), but is rated the most liberal in the House for 2007.

Nancy Pelosi

The honor of the first member of the House of Representatives to appear on TfTL is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, representing the 8th congressional district. While she deserves some recognition for being the first, she also deserves not to be re-elected–she’s served for over 20 years. It’s time for a change in the 8th.

Republican Turncoats

Last week (Feb. 13, 2009), three republican senators broke with their party and “negotiated” with the democrats to help pass the massive $800,000,000,000 “stimulus” package.  For their courage we present their names for you to not re-elect.  Maine Senators Susan Collins, Olympia Snow and Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter. Their primary opponents deserve your vote.

Orrin Hatch

Just to show that we’re equal opportunity here at Time for Term Limits, we’ve added a high ranking republican senator, Orrin Hatch, from Utah. While it’s true Senator Hatch has done good while in the Senate, he’s been there 5 terms, and it’s time for a change.
