Daniel Inouye

April 15, 2009 by Patrick Henry · 1 Comment

At 85, Senator Daniel Inouye is one of the oldest members of the senate and third in seniority. He has represented Hawaii since its statehood in 1959. Senator Inouye is a decorated WWII veteran who has served his entire adult life either in the military or in the halls of congress. Age can bring wisdom, but that’s not what the Founding Fathers had in mind when the set Senate terms at 6 years.
