July 13, 2009 – UPDATE: Roland Burris has announced he will not run for reelection. This is great news! Hopefully, he’ll go back to private life and find success there… Roland Burris wasn’t elected, so technically, he can’t be reelected to his Illinois senate seat. He was appointed by impeached Rod Blogovich to fill President Barack Obama’s vacant seat.

Mark Steven Kirk is considered a “moderate” Republican (which means most conservatives would consider him a RINO). But our objects primarily rests on his need to stay in Washington. He’s on his 4th term. He thinks of himself as a “centrist.” We think he’s been in Washington too long.

8 Republicans voted for the climate change bill that just passed the House. We will be showcasing them in the upcoming week. None of them deserve reelection for voting for this completely unconstitutional bill.

Jan Schakowsky, the 2nd most liberal representative, has served Illinois’ 9th district since 1999. She voted for the 2009 economic stimulus package. Her record makes it appear that she thinks the government’s job is to protect us from ourselves.
