Jim Bunning

In major league baseball history there have been only 17 perfect games pitched. In 1964 Jim Bunning pitched a perfect game. Unfortunately for us, he’s not pitched a perfect legislative record. We don’t mean what he has sponsored or how he has voted, but rather how many times he’s run for office.

Harold “Hal” Rogers

Harold “Hal” Rogers has already announced he’s going to run for office in 2010. He has been both praised and criticized for his efforts to bring federal money to his district. We won’t comment directly on these issues, but will comment on the issue of his insistence on staying in office.
