June 4, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

Today’s Task: Contact the challengers. Term limits will only happen when we work at the grassroots level to toss out the incumbents. It’s going to be difficult work. Those in power, of both parties, will not give it up easily. We need to make it clear that it’s not their choice to stay.

Today’s task is to contact your local party and let them know you support a grassroots effort to have the party endorse a challenger. It doesn’t matter how well loved by the party the incumbent is, it’s time for change and you are supporting change.

Task #2: Who’s opposing the incumbent?. In order for us to have any success at implementing voter based term limits (that is we vote out incumbents) it is important that our efforts begin early. It starts with individuals who want to really make a difference. Real political change comes when we decide to act.
