Dan Burton

Indiana Congressman Dan Burton
Dan Burton breaks the attorney mold. He is was an insurance/real estate agent. He’s also relatively popular, regularly getting over 60% of the vote. I’d ask the good citizens of his district to reconsider.
Congressman Burton has been involved in all sorts of legislation over his 14 terms. He’s dealt with autism, Cubu, and FBI corruption. He’s had his share of ethics questions (mostly golf related travel) and his personal life has some interesting twists. But what really makes him stand out is his insistence on running for reelection each year. Just like with his Democratic colleagues, we don’t care so much about the issues of the past as we do about the future–a future without Dan Burton in elected office.
