Alan Mollohan

We at TfTL are running out of snide attorney remarks.  There are simply too many of them in congress for us to come up with something original to use.  Forgive us if we start recycling them.  TfTL brings another attorney-cum-politician Alan Mollohan (although we still wonder how much of an attorney could you be if you’ve spent most of your adult life in congress).

This 77 year old congressman has been there more than half his life. He’s made a career out of elected office, not being an attorney. Frankly, we think we have too many attorneys as it is, but we have far too many career politicians, too. It’s time for this one to go.

Alan Mollohan’s father held the seat he now occupies.  And, for some reason, he’s run unopposed many times.  It seems that the good people of the 1st district of West Virginia need to shake things up a bit.  They intuitively know, like the rest of us know, that we need new people serving in elected office.  They just seem to think that idea only applies to other districts (or if a Rebublican sits in office.).  It’s really time to help them see that a new congressman (or woman) from the 1st district will better serve their interests.
