New York Congressman John McHugh
This post for John McHugh may not be needed for very long, as he was nominated to the Secretary of the Army by President Barack Obama. But, since he’s still in office, we’re including him, particularly since he’s become somewhat infamous the past couple of weeks (and you never know what deal may have been made with regard to his nomination).
John McHugh lists his occupation as insurance broker/government worker. “Government worker” ought to be enough to disqualify him from office (something about taxes and who pays you). But, like so many others, its his long term tenure in office that is our primary objection. In the House since 1993 and the New York state senate from 1984. Clearly a serial politician.
John McHugh is part of the “gang of 8″ who recently broke party ranks to vote for the climate change bill. He also voted for the bailout plans both times.
