Mark Kirk

Mark Steven Kirk is a Republican attorney (surprise!) representing the state of Illinois (yes, this is the SAME text used for Mike Castle). He is currently serving the US Naval Reserves as an intelligence officer.  We think that’s great.

He’s considered a “moderate” Republican (which means most conservatives would consider him a RINO). But our objects primarily rests on his need to stay in Washington.  He’s on his 4th term.  He  thinks of himself as a “centrist.”  We think he’s been in Washington too long.

Mark Kirk is part of the “gang of 8″ who recently broke party ranks to vote for the climate change bill.
