Minnesota Senator Al Franken
Al Franken is Minnesota’s newest Senator. The Minnesota Supreme Court rejected incumbent Norm Coleman’s challenge to the vote count and declared Al Franken the winner. This mean’s it’s time to get started.
This not-so-funny man will represent Minnesota for the next six years. Let’s make sure he understands it’s a temp job. A one time gig. He needs to know he’s not starting a political career. It’s too early to know who the challenger might be in 5 4 years. Either way, show your support for the unknown candidate.

Norm Coleman kept saying that Al should accept the vote and concede early on, and then he didn’t even follow his own admonishments when the voting went against him. What a loser! And you too Patrick Henry. Get a life.

I think you’ve missed the point of TfTL. We have Republicans, too. Norm Coleman would have been included on our site, as will all federal elected office holders who have served for more than two terms. It’s be good for you to check out the ABOUT page (link at the top of the web page).
“The idea is that no one, at any level of government, gets to serve consecutive terms. And we’ll even take the idea a bit further. No one should go from one elected position to the next.” You’ll notice we don’t exempt anyone from this.
