Christopher Dodd

UPDATE: According to a Washington Post story, Christopher Dodd has announced he will not run for reelection in 2010. Dang! There go our T-Shirt sales! The good news is that he’s not running for office. He’s term limited himself. A win for the citizens of Connecticut and the country! One less incumbent to vote against.

Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd
Recent Quote:
Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) cited such a statistic Wednesday as he told reporters that taxing health benefits lacked any viability. The Senate Finance Committee had considered taxing health benefits worth more than $17,000 a year.
“Fifty percent of my constituents would be taxed at that level,” Dodd said. “We are going to have to find another option.”
Spring of 2009 Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut was brought into the limelight with his participation in the AIG bailout bonus scandal. Senator Dodd ranks 10th in seniority, but that’s no surprise. He’s been in the Senate since 1981, or 28 years (and in the House for 3 terms before that). He, too, is an attorney (are we seeing a pattern?).
