Your Political Position

Where you stand politically? You may think you’re right, or left. But what about up or down? The Political Compass has a very interesting test you can take to find out where you are politically. Go to the site, take the test then come back and register your score. Feel free to comment, too.

Send this page to your liberal/progressive friends. It would be very interesting to see where they come in. I’ve had some who took the test. It resulted in some significant personal cognitive dissonance. They had a hard time reconciling what they verbally thought they believed with what they actually believed.

Count me in that same boat. Took the test twice and on the 2nd go around selected the stronger answer choice and still ended up in the same place on the compass…
Economic Left/Right: -1.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.38
Thought I was more to the right than this test indicates???
It’s an interesting test. It’ll force you to pick a position, even if you are uncomfortable with it. They do that on purpose, because they’re trying to get to the root core of how you think. I’ve been pretty consistent on subsequent testings. Stick me in the lower right.
