Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold
The wisdom of our founding fathers creating a Senate made up of two senators to represent each state is evident when the “small states” (referring to population, not geographic size) are able to have their representatives in positions of power. Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold is an example of this.
Senator Feingold is like most of those in federal office – an attorney who isn’t satisfied with working for a living. Instead, he’s run for state office followed by federal office. When he ran for his Senate office he posted on his garage 5 promises that he would live by if he were to be elected. Unfortunately for the citizens of Wisconsin and the nation, only serving one term wasn’t one of them (we’d have been happy with him promising to serve only two terms).
Quite frankly, there is an awful lot of stuff that we can write about Senator Feingold. But we’ll leave it up to the reader to do some research. We urge the citizens of Wisconsin to also reconsider reelecting him.
