New Jersey Term Limit Victory

We salute the citizens of New Jersey for doing the right thing and term limiting Governor Jon Corzine from another term in office. Corzine had been the CEO of Goldman Sachs and has ties to Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. Unpopular from the beginning, he’s fought an uphill battle to win the hearts of the citizens of New Jersey. Continuing unpopular high property tax rates, state government shut downs, expansion of the the state’s role in health care all contributed to his demise.
While we do congratulate Chris Christie for his win, the real winners are the citizens of New Jersey for realizing that public office holders can and should be replaced.
