Thursday’s Task – Our Battle Plan

Thursday’s Task – Our Battle Plan

March 25, 2010 by Patrick Henry · 1 Comment

UPDATE: We’re reposting this same task until it’s over.  Until the current health care reform bills are defeated repealed.  Until cap and trade is dead.  Until all those things that are destroying our liberty and freedom are gone.  Until we know that those responsible will not be reelected.
We at TfTL are equal opportunity term limiters.  [...]

John Dingell, has been in the House of Representatives since 1955 and is its longest serving member. He’s one of the more liberal representatives. But it’s his longevity that really makes him a stand out. 27 terms–longer than the intrepid Senator Robert Byrd.

Madison’s Warning

March 23, 2010 by Patrick Henry · Leave a Comment

Giving Congress a distinct and independent power to do any act they please which may be good for the Union, would render all the preceding and subsequent enumerations of power completely useless. It would reduce the whole Constitution to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for [...]

UPDATE: Ben Nelson has joined a whole host of others who have sold their vote against the wishes of those who elected them.  If you’re for the “government option” for health care, he’s sold you out.  If you’re against government intrusion in our health care system, he’s sold you out.  It’s time to not reelect [...]

2010 Battle Cry – Repeal 2009!

December 19, 2009 by Patrick Henry · Leave a Comment

With the news today that it appears Harry Reid has his 60 votes to pass a massive unconstitutional health care reform bill it’s time to get to work.
We may not be able to stop it.  It’s likely that we’re not going to stop it.  But it doesn’t mean we don’t make our best effort to [...]

Thursday Term Limit Task Review

Thursday Term Limit Task Review

Review the Thursday Tasks. They’ll help you take the action necessary to make sure that incumbents are not reelected. Then, come back and let us know who you’re voting for. TfTL seems like it’s a negative site, but we’re not. We want to let everyone know of the positive choices they [...]

The debate over health care reform has really lead to us having some mixed feelings.  On the one hand, the Founding Fathers were afraid of mob rule and were fearful of “pure” democracy being not much different than a mob. At TfTL, we agree with the sentiment. The idea is that a good [...]

Patrick’s Health Care Reform Plan

Patrick’s Health Care Reform Plan

November 6, 2009 by Patrick Henry · Leave a Comment

Today we’re going to divert from our usual anti-incumbent pro-voter driven term limit theme and discuss health care.  There seems to be a disconnect between the polls and the politicians.  Nothing new here…the politicians are doing what they want to do.  Of course, we use this as a reason to vote them out.  It’s not [...]

Olympia Snow

Olympia Snow

October 13, 2009 by Patrick Henry · 2 Comments

UPDATE – 10/13/09 : Olympia Snow breaks ranks and votes the Backus health care reform bill out of committee. Clearly, she’s not only out of step with her party, but the majority of the US population and most likely her own constituents.

Last week (Feb. 13, 2009), three republican senators broke with their party and “negotiated” with the democrats to help pass the massive $800,000,000,000 “stimulus” package. For their courage we present their names for you to not re-elect. Three term republican Senator Olympia Snow was one of them.
